The product announcement is part of Twitter's efforts to compete with rival platforms such as Alphabet Inc's Facebook and YouTube for popular content creators with large followings, and rebrand itself as a site where polarized discussions can thrive. .
Twitter users globally on iOS devices can now send and receive digital payments, previously limited to a small group of testers.

The feature will allow people to track and display their NFT holdings on Twitter, the company said.
In an effort to grow Spaces, Twitter will also launch a creator fund to provide financial, technical, and marketing support to users who host recurring audio programs on Spaces.
“The support will allow more Spaces hosts to better organize conversations and potentially get brand sponsorship deals,” said Andre Jean-Pierre, who served as an early beta tester for Spaces.
