Persib Bandung Vs Borneo FC: Robert Alberts Admits His Team Has Problems In Final Settlement
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung coach Robert Alberts said his team had problems in finishing when they only drew 0-0 against Borneo FC.
"If we compare the previous three matches, we are still not finalized in scoring goals. This is the first match we can't score," said Robert during a virtual press conference, Thursday, as reported by Antara.
"We know that in the previous game our midfielders could score goals. We are still working so that Persib can be productive to score goals," he continued.
In addition, Robert also assesses Persib Bandung is still in a stable condition as a team but the final settlement is the main problem for Maung Bandung at this time.
"I think this team remains stable, but unfortunately in the finalization we haven't been able to maximize our attack in this team," said Robert.
The Dutch coach continued to say that Brazilian foreign striker Wander Luiz has not yet got the momentum to score goals because he plays alone up front.
Robert explained that usually Wander Luiz would be accompanied by a foreign striker from the Netherlands, Geoffrey Castillion, who at this time had not been able to field them.
"Luiz is currently playing alone because we usually pair him with Geoffrey Castillion. Currently Luiz is still trying to find momentum to score goals again," explained Robert.
In this match Persib had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Borneo FC after making Maung Bandung currently second in the Liga 1 standings with 8 points from four matches.
Furthermore, Persib is scheduled to return to play the match against Persikabo Bogor in the fifth week of Liga 1 2021/2022 on Monday, September 27 at 19:00 WIB.
