DKI Letters To Ministry Of Education And Technology Requesting School COVID-19 Cluster Data
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has sent a letter to the Ministry of Education and Technology to clarify the findings of 25 COVID-19 clusters in schools.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) has not received any data from the ministry regarding the findings of 25 COVID-19 clusters in schools.
"We have written to the Ministry of Education and Culture asking for the exact data," said Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 23.
Deputy Governor Riza believes the implementation of face-to-face learning (PTM) which has been running for more than three weeks is in accordance with the health protocol (prokes).
"We will check the accuracy of the information data from the Ministry of Education and Culture," he said.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Culture released survey data for 25 COVID-19 clusters found in Jakarta originating from PTM. In the data uploaded on the school.data.kemdikbud.go.id website, based on survey data as of September 22, 2021, there are 25 COVID-19 clusters out of 897 school respondents who filled out the survey.
Of the 25 clusters, West Jakarta became the area with the most clusters due to PTM, namely eight clusters. Meanwhile, East Jakarta (6), North Jakarta (5), South Jakarta (5) and one cluster in Central Jakarta.
The total number of educators and education personnel (PTK) who were recorded positive for COVID-19 reached 227 cases. Details of 96 CAR in West Jakarta, 66 CAR in East Jakarta, 16 CAR in North Jakarta, 47 CAR in South Jakarta and two CAR in Central Jakarta.
Meanwhile, there are 241 cases of exposed and positive COVID-19 students. The details are 119 people in West Jakarta, 68 people in East Jakarta, 10 people in North Jakarta, 39 people in South Jakarta and five people in Central Jakarta.
