Many DKI CPNS Applicants Fail Due To 'Wrong Room'

JAKARTA - A total of 9,311 Civil Servant Candidate applicants (CPNS) did not pass the administrative selection in recruitment within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. That means, there were 41,250 applicants who passed the administrative selection out of a total of around 50,200 people competing for 3,958 seats for DKI Jakarta civil servants.

Head of the DKI Chaidir Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) explained that the most factor in the failure of applicants to pass the administrative selection is the mistake in the formation of positions when applying.

"Mostly it is because of the wrong 'room'. For example, there is a formation majoring in law, but those who are from the administration department enter applications into that formation. That is why they do not pass," said Chaidir at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 16. .

Chaidir admitted, actually in the prerequisites that have been announced via the official website bkddki.jakarta.go.id if an applicant who submits an application outside the specified formation will not pass the selection.

The second most common reason is that many applicants do not include special requirements in the form of a registration certificate (STR) that are stipulated in a number of formations, especially health workers such as midwives and nurses. After this, the DKI Provincial Government opens the opportunity for a rebuttal period for the next 7 days.

"If you want to argue, go ahead, if he is lacking, this is lacking. Later we will convey it to the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Panselnas," he said.

After the rebuttal period is over, the applicants will pass the basic competency selection (SKD), then narrow it to the field competency selection (SKB). From there, 3,958 people were screened for filing.

"For the regional government, not in DKI alone, field competency tests are not allowed to be added with interviews. That can only be done in ministerial institutions," he concluded.

For information, the registration period for CPNS DKI has been opened since 11 November. In detail, there are 2,064 educational staff formations, 629 for health workers, and 1,265 for technical or administrative personnel. The provision of this amount is based on the Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Number 333 of 2019.

Of the 3,958 vacancies for CPNS DKI, the DKI Provincial Government projects 79 formations for disabilities and 60 for the best graduates. CPNS with the best graduates are applicants who graduated with the predicate "With Praise" or cum laude from a superior accredited college and an A accredited or superior study program at the time of graduation.

Meanwhile, the disability formation is an applicant with special needs who must undergo a medical examination and functional ability by a doctor at a government hospital.

The examination must state that the person concerned is truly a person with a disability and can still be improved through therapy with assistive devices or sign language. Then, applicants can carry out official duties if accepted as CPNS.

This is evidenced by a disability certificate from a doctor at a government hospital or puskesmas explaining the type and degree of disability.
