Rent Used For Nyabu, 2 Teenagers In Serang Arrested By Officials

SERANG – Two men, residents of Lebak Regency, Banten Province, YS (21) and AP (21) were arrested by the Narcotics Directorate of the Banten Police for possession of shabu.

The suspects YS and AP were arrested at YS' rented house, in Narimbang Mulya Village, Rangakasbitung District, Lebak Regency, Banten.

"YS and AP work odd jobs every day, secured by officers at 17.30 WIB," said the Director of Drugs and Drugs at the Banten Police, Kombes Pol. Martri Sonny Martri Sonny, via a message received by VOI, Thursday, September 23.

Martri Sonny explained that officers received information about narcotics trafficking from the public. Furthermore, Martri Sonny said, the information was followed up by conducting an investigation.

"From the perpetrators found evidence in the form of narcotics of methamphetamine as much as 20 clear plastic clip packages with a total gross weight of 8.89 grams. The perpetrators stored the narcotics in the ventilation hole of the rented bathroom door," explained Martri Sonny.

For the purposes of the investigation, the suspect and the evidence were brought to the Banten Police for further examination.

"For his actions, the suspect is threatened with a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 20 years in prison because he is charged with Article 114 paragraph (1) and or Article 112 paragraph (1) and or Article 132 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. ," he explained.

Martri Sonny appealed to the entire community to stay away from drugs and illegal drugs. The public, said Martri, can report to the authorities if they know there is drug abuse.
