Juventus Won Hard From Spezia, Allegri's PR Is Still A Lot

JAKARTA - Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri admitted his team had to struggle to win over Spezia in the fifth week of the Italian League, Wednesday night local time.

"Luckily we won the game with such difficulty. Otherwise we might think we did well and there is nothing else to do," said Allegri in the football-italy website, Thursday, quoted by Antara.

The Italian coach admits there are still many things in his team that need to be improved in looking at the next matches that Juventus will face.

According to him, players must make better decisions when the last pass, including when releasing a shot directed at the opponent's goal.

"There is still a lot to improve. We have players who have to do better in the final passing decision, when taking a shot on goal," explained Allegri.

The 54-year-old coach called this victory an important victory, but they had to get out of their comfort zone because football is made of suffering and fatigue.

He will not look to the table for a first home win at home to Sampdoria and assesses that there are players who have important qualities and need to improve.

"We are trying to get our first win at home against Sampdoria. There are players who have important qualities and players who need to improve," said Allegri.

Juventus won 3-2 over Spezia thanks to goals from Moise Kean, Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt.

This is Juventus' first win in an Italian League match after failing in the previous four matches. Juventus currently occupies the 13th position with three points from five matches.
