Don't Have CHSE Yet, Setu Babakan Is Not Yet Open To The Public
JAKARTA - Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village in South Jakarta has not yet been tested and is open to the public. This is because it does not yet have a "Clean, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability" (CHSE) certificate.
"Setu Babakan because the CHSE is not yet owned," said Head of the Supervision and Control Section (Wasdal) of the Tourism Industry of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf), Iffan in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, September 22.
A CHSE certificate is required for every tourist spot that will be tested to reopen. "Currently, there are only two tourist attractions in Jakarta (trially open), namely TMII and Ancol. Setu Babakan has not yet," he said.
It is possible that the Thousand Islands will be tested to be opened after Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) and Ancol.
"Yesterday, indeed, we received proposals which could be opened. Now there is a proposal for the Thousand Islands," said Iffan. However, the Thousand Islands are also known to not have a CHSE certificate, and do not even have a Care for Protect barcode which is the first requirement for operating tourist attractions during the PPKM period.
Related to this, Iffan said, the Thousand Islands Regency Government has submitted a letter to the Deputy for Industry and Investment of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) to possibly have its own considerations so that the trial can be reopened.
"The Thousand Islands have several places that can absorb foreign tourists and domestic tourists, so there are more tourists," said Iffan.
