PSI Urges DPRD Leaders To Hold Formula E Interpellation Plenary Meeting Next Week
JAKARTA - The PSI faction of the DKI DPRD considers that the proposed interpellation rights for Formula E, which were submitted by 33 council members from PSI and PDIP, must be brought to a plenary meeting.
Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PSI Regional Leadership Council Michael Victor Sianipar said that his party urged the leadership of the DKI DPRD to immediately hold a Deliberative Body meeting to determine the schedule for the plenary meeting.
"The plenary meeting is very important in our opinion. How important it is for this interpellation to be completed immediately. It has been almost a month since the proposed interpellation was submitted to the leadership of the DPRD. We hope that the plenary session can be held next week," said Victor at the DKI DPRD Building, Wednesday, September 22.
In the said plenary meeting, the interpellation will be determined whether it will be approved or not. The requirement to agree to the interpellation is that the members present must meet a quorum of 50 percent + 1 or as many as 54 of the total 106 members of the DKI DPRD.
Victor explained three reasons why the interpellation was urgent. First, the interpellation plenary meeting on Law Number 17 of 2014 concerning MD3, PP Number 12 of 2018 and the Rules of Procedure of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.
"All of this stated that after the interpellation received 15 signatures, the proposal was administratively ready, so it had to be finalized," said Victor.
Second, Victor considers that the war of opinion from the members of the council to the executive of the DKI Provincial Government regarding the pros and cons regarding the Interpellation of Formula E is over.
"I think one month is enough for parties, as well as individual DPRD members to carefully consider whether this interpellation is necessary or not," he said. still very much. DKI still has to discuss the proposed revision of regional regulations regarding the 2017-2022 medium-term development plan (RPJMD).
Then, the DPRD and the DKI Provincial Government still have to discuss the 2021 APBD changes until they are ratified. After that, there are still discussions on the General Budget Policy and the Provisional Budget Ceiling Priority (KUA-PPAS) for the 2022 APDB, until the ratification of the 2022 DKI APBD at the end of the year.
"This interpellation must be completed immediately. So it must be decided so that we move on to the next discussion and debate. We hope that this Formula E interpellation will not be suspended for long," he explained.
