Not Ancelotti's First Choice, Asensio Will Determine His Future At Real Madrid
JAKARTA - Winger Marco Asensio is reportedly set to discuss his future at Real Madrid in the near future.
Quoted by Antara from football-espana, Wednesday, it was explained that Marco Asensio would be included in the important weeks regarding his clarity on being in the Real Madrid squad in the future.
Currently, Marco Asensio is not the main choice for coach Carlo Ancelotti up front for Real Madrid and the Spaniard has not started at all in the six matches that Los Blancos have played this season.
Actually Asensio had the opportunity to leave Real Madrid in the transfer market last summer but he still couldn't decide about his future at that time.
After choosing to stay at Real Madrid, Asensio currently often does not get enough playing minutes and is still the second choice behind Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale.
This makes Asensio think about leaving Real Madrid in the January transfer window and begin to consider the offers that come to him.
It is believed that talks between Real Madrid and Marco Asensio will take place in the coming weeks and if he doesn't get the chance at Los Blancos, he will choose to leave.
Marco Asensio has been a part of Real Madrid since 2014 and was loaned out to Mallorca and Espanyol in 2014-2016.
With Real Madrid, Marco Asensio recorded 133 appearances and 18 goals and presented several prestigious titles for Los Merengues.
