PGN Tests Gaskita In Jakarta And Tangerang

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), as the Gas Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), conducted a market test of the PGN Sayang Ibu Gaskita program in the Jakarta and Tangerang areas, Banten.

"In determining the price, of course, we pay attention to various aspects. First, from the government side, we are tasked with ensuring the availability and range of natural gas. Second, from the business entity side, of course, we must keep profit. However, we will keep the profit within reasonable limits. Then, of course, the interests of the community," said Head of BPH Migas Erika Retnowati in a written statement received in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Tuesday, September 21.

In order to realize the commitment of PT Pertamina (Persero) to expand the development of the natural gas network (jargas) for households and small customers, PGN conducted a market test of PGN Sayang Ibu Gaskita in Jakarta and Tangerang.

The market test was held in Malaka Sari, East Jakarta, Tuesday, in a hybrid manner, while still implementing health protocols.

"This pilot event is part of the effort to achieve the target of four million household jargas customers. Let's work together to achieve the development target," said Erika.

Besides Erika, the event was attended by members of the BPH Migas Committee, namely Wahyudi Anas, Basuki Trikora Putra, and Saleh Abdurrahman, Director of Natural Gas BPH Migas Sentot Harijady, Director of Planning and Development of Oil and Gas Infrastructure at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Noor Arifin Muhammad, and President Director of PGN M Haryo Yunianto.

In Jakarta, there are 15,479 house connections (SR) for potential household natural gas customers with Gaskita products. Meanwhile, in Tangerang there were 37,929 potential customers. This Gaskita product is offered to potential customers at a price of Rp. 10,000/cubic meter.

Haryo Yunianto explained that with this special offer, customers will get many benefits.

Among them, household customers will get free installation fees up to a maximum stove distance of 15 meters, free stove conversion fees from LPG to gas for a maximum of two stoves, and discounts for water heater conversions.

"The market test of the PGN Sayang Ibu Gaskita program in Jakarta is one of the patterns of gas grid development that can be copied and pasted in other regions in Indonesia. PGN is ready to cooperate with various parties in the gas gas development process and achieve government targets," said Haryo. by household or small business customers, such as free one-time pipe and equipment inspections and free fire insurance.

PGN has also implemented service digitization by using smart gas meter system technology, which will facilitate online monitoring of gas usage through the PGN Mobile application and automatic meter recording.

Gaskita can be a solution for using natural gas energy for a practical, safe and modern life.

Natural gas distributed by PGN uses pipes to the kitchen or business location. Gaskita is distributed through a pipeline gas distribution network, so it is always available 24 hours a day. Gas consumption in households is around 4-50 cubic meters per month.

"Gas usage is paid on a monthly basis, thus helping customers make financial planning easier," said Haryo.
