Police Reveal Causes Of Clashes Between Motorcycle Gangs In Bekasi, One Member Celebrates Birthday
JAKARTA - Three youths from a motorcycle gang with the initials P, F and KA who were involved in a brawl were arrested by members of the Pondok Gede Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
The Head of Pondok Gede Police, Kompol Puji Hardi, said that the three perpetrators who were arrested were those involved in the incident of clashes between gangs on Jalan Artiri Jorr Jatiwama, Jatimelati, Bekasi City on Monday, September 13, last.
"So the perpetrators were involved in a beating that resulted in one person being injured. All three are in the same gang," Kompol Puji Hardi told reporters, Tuesday, September 21.
Hardi said the arrests of the three perpetrators began with a brawl between gangsters who were recognized by the perpetrators as the Rauwsterdam Gang and the Jatiagung 129 gang. This action broke out while celebrating the birthday of one of the gangsters.
"After celebrating the party. One of the gang asked the term to approach the children from the rice fields," he said.
Furthermore, their action continues to send messages to other gangs. The gang responded to the plan. Furthermore, the perpetrators prepared equipment such as wood and sickles to go to the agreed location.
Arriving at the location, the two gangs were immediately involved in a clash using firecrackers, even as a result of the incident one of the gangs was injured by a sharp weapon.
The police who received reports of the brawl immediately rushed to the scene. The brawl was successfully dispersed. After conducting an investigation, the police received information that the perpetrator was injured.
"After conducting an investigation, buser members received information about the data and the whereabouts of the perpetrators. Three of the perpetrators were successfully secured at his residence. At this time we are still carrying out developments related to the incident," he said.
The three perpetrators are threatened with Article 170 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code with a threat of 5 years in prison. Several pieces of evidence in the form of sickles were also secured and confiscated for the bloody incident.
