Calls Milan Better Than The Last Few Years, Ruud Gullit: They Are On The Right Track
JAKARTA - Former AC Milan player Ruud Gullit hopes his former club can win the Italian League title this season
"It's very early in the season, but I think Inter, Juventus, Napoli and Milan can win the title. Of course, I hope Milan will win it," Gullit said.
Furthermore, the former Dutchman said AC Milan was lucky when he scored two goals against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Gullit thinks Milan already knows how to play in the Champions League and believes the Rossonerri have a chance to go further.
"I watched the game against Liverpool, they suffered and they were a bit lucky to score two goals.
"However, it is important to understand how to play in the Champions League, so I believe this match will help Milan to move forward," said Gullit.
Furthermore, Gullit assessed that Milan is now much better than in previous years because the club had problems when Silvio Berlusconi left.
According to Gullit, Milan has some problems, but now he sees his former club as on the right track.
"Milan now are better than the last few years. They have had some problems since the departure of Berlusconi, finally, they are on the right track," said Gullit.
Ruud Gullit was recorded to have joined AC Milan from PSV Eindhoven from 1987 to 1994 and recorded 171 appearances and scored 56 goals.
During his time with AC Milan, it was recorded that Gullit managed to bring the Rossonerri to win two Champions Leagues and three Italian Leagues.
