The Difficulty Of The Bogor COVID-19 Task Force In Reaching Luhut's Target Due To Constraints On Vaccinations
BOGOR - The Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force, West Java, has difficulty achieving the target of Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, to carry out 100,000 vaccinations per day, due to the lack of vaccinators.
"Now we have an average of 50 thousand vaccinations per day. That's all from the morning and some even arrive at night, and there are limitations of vaccinators," said Secretary of the Bogor Regency Health Office (Dinkes), Agus Fauzi in Cibinong, Bogor, quoted by Antara, Monday, September 20th.
Now the Bogor Regency COVID-19 Task Force has 1,076 vaccinators, and in the near future there will be an additional 600 vaccinators who are still in the training phase.
"Yesterday there was also an addition from the Army of around 100 health workers divided into four teams," explained Agus.
Even so, Agus remains optimistic in vaccinating 70 percent of the population or 4.2 million people, equivalent to the obligation to inject 8.5 million doses of vaccine. Now, the progress of vaccination in Bogor Regency has only reached 20.78 percent or about 1.7 million doses of vaccine.
Previously, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan raised the COVID-19 vaccination target in Bogor Regency, West Java to 100 thousand per day.
Luhut while reviewing vaccinations with Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, Saturday (15/8) targeted Bogor Regency which is included in the agglomeration area to achieve the target of 70 percent vaccination by September 2021.
