BANDA ACEH - Banda Aceh Police Satreskrim personnel arrested four men who were transacting buying and selling chips (coins) online game higgs domino, three of whom were suspected of being agents.

"We moved quickly when we received reports from residents who were currently worried about the game that could damage morale," said Kasatreskrim for the Banda Aceh Police, AKP M Ryan Citra Yudha, in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 20.

Previously, in a meeting with the Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Haydar with Acehnese cleric Tgk Abdurrahman or Abu Keune, it was reported that there is currently a boom in high-domino gambling (online gambling) which destroys the morale of youth, especially students.

"It has become the attention of the Aceh Police Chief to eradicate online gambling in all areas of his staff," said AKP Ryan.

Regarding the arrest of the four people, Ryan said that for the first time his party arrested two men suspected of being online gambling agents (selling and buying higgs domino game chips), in the Peunayong area of Banda Aceh.

The man who was arrested had the initials KH (29) a resident of Pidie and MA (22) a resident of Banda Aceh.

At the crime scene (TKP), Ryan said, officers secured a number of evidences in the form of four units of mobile phones of various brands with 87 billion higgs domino chip accounts stored in one seller's account and Rp200 thousand in cash.

"If it is estimated (with the number of chips) the selling price of the chips reaches more than Rp. 5 million," he said. Then, Ryan continued, based on residents' reports of buying and selling domino chips, his party again arrested two men who were transacting at Simpang 7 Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh.

"Both residents of Ulee Kareng have the initials IKR (22) as an agent and MUS (35) as a buyer. Here the officers secured evidence in the form of four mobile phones and Rp1.4 million in cash," he said.

Ryan said the alleged agent and buyer of the chip would be charged with Article 18 in conjunction with Article 20 of Aceh Province Qanun Number 06 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law.

"The alleged chip agent and the buyer as well as evidence have been brought to the Banda Aceh Police for further legal proceedings," said Ryan.
