Bank Mandiri Releases Newest Credit Card For SMEs, Claimed To Help Optimize Cash Management

JAKARTA – PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. in the near future plans to release a new financing facility for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the form of the Mandiri Corporate Card Mastercard.

Director of Network and Retail Banking at Bank Mandiri Aquarius Rudianto said this new service is in the form of a credit facility with a loan limit that is tailored to the needs of each business actor.

"With the presence of our latest product, it is hoped that we can support the SME sector in Indonesia to start implementing the principles of good corporate governance," he said in a press statement, Monday, September 20.

According to Aquarius, in addition to flexible limits, the Mandiri Corporate Card Mastercard also offers other features and benefits that can provide positive benefits for the recovery of business growth for business actors.

"SMEs convert their transactions into installments with a tenor of 3 months to 6 months so that they can help companies manage their company's cash flow better," he said.

In detail, Aquarius explained that this credit card product will offer loan flexibility ranging from Rp. 2 million to Rp. 2 billion. Its use also depends on the needs and the results of Bank Mandiri's assessment.

"It is hoped that the determination of this very wide limit range can be utilized by SME players to meet incidental needs and the value is small, such as for operational expenses or business trips," he asserted.

Meanwhile, several other conveniences offered by the state-owned bank include a free 1 year feature for subscribing to Office Smart Apps, the Dual Billing feature that will also help SMEs generate more detailed monthly transaction reports, and a grace period feature of up to 50 days. .

On the same occasion, Mastercard Indonesia Country Manager Navin Jain said that the synergy built with Bank Mandiri was a form of support for SMEs. This is because SMEs are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, and are able to absorb most of the workforce.
