Criticism Of Persija's Bad Appearance, Jakmania Sends Wreaths

JAKARTA - The Persija Jakarta office received a bouquet of flowers from its support group, The Jakmania, Monday.

The general chairman of The Jakmania, Diky Budi Ramadhan, said that the flower bouquet sent from the supporters' organization to Persija was a symbol of criticism of the Kemayoran Tigers' performance in Liga 1 2021-2022, which was considered not to meet expectations.

"This is a form of criticism from us to Persija. We hope that, after this, the club management can make the team win in every match," Diky told Antara, Monday.

The news about the wreath sent by The Jakmania was uploaded by the official Instagram account of the supporters' organization which was founded on December 19, 1997, @infokomjakmania on Monday.

On the wreath, The Jakmania affixed the phrase "Congratulations on the first 3 points from 3 matches in Liga 1".

Diky asserted, through the bouquet, The Jakmania asked Persija to improve themselves by conducting evaluations on all lines, both management and team.

Persija is expected to be able to find the best solution so that the 2018 Indonesian League 1 champion team gets up and returns to "stick its claws" in the top competition in national football.

One of the suggestions made by The Jakmania is that Persija will reassess the policy of releasing several players, including names such as Sandi Sute, Shahar Ginanjar, Evan Dimas and Marc Klok, before the 2021-2022 Liga 1 rolls out, but only brings in one new player as a substitute. .

To complete the squad, Persija also attracted academy players to the first team.

"The way Persija prepares the team at the start of the league must be evaluated. Releasing 12 players, only entering one name and the rest from the academy. That must be reviewed again. Registration for the first round of players has closed, it's time to improve for the second round," said Diky.

Persija Jakarta has yet to taste victory in the 2021-2022 Indonesian Liga 1 after their first three matches ended in draws.

Most recently, Sunday, September 19, Marko Simic and his friends were held to a draw with Persipura with a score of 0-0. The other two matches, against PSS and PSIS, ended with 1-1 and 2-2 respectively.

This achievement made Persija in 10th position in the 2021-2022 Indonesian League 1 standings with a collection of three points.
