Nagelsmann Proposes Football To Imitate American Football, Players Will Be Given Earphones To Listen To Coach's Instructions
JAKARTA - Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann is highly respected in the world of modern football. Despite being only 34 years old, his understanding of football has led him to one of the best coaching jobs on the planet.
For that reason, he wasn't comfortable just standing still. He thinks there are a lot of things that need to be shaken up in football.
"Football must stop hiding behind tradition and must revolutionize itself," said Nagelsmann.
He believes this round skin game should look to American football (American football) and how they are moving forward in the 21st century.
"American football is far more technologically advanced than football," he added.
"The quarterback has an earpiece to listen to his coach. We really needed something like that."
He believed that giving earphones to players would be very beneficial for the game.
"As a football coach, you can achieve a lot with something like that," he believes.
The Bayern Munich coach also said there was too much noise in the stadium that it interfered with the coach's communication with the players.
He also complained about the absence of 'time out' like in American football. Although currently in some leagues apply water break rules.
"We only had half-time to talk tactics with the players," he said.
