JAKARTA - A video that recorded a number of honorary employees in Jelambar Village, Central Jakarta went viral on social media some time ago. They are employees who have extended the contract for Other Individual Service Providers (PJLP).

At first glance, this incident resembled the hazing tradition of freshmen in a university. They were asked to enter the sewers, then carry out activities ordered by the "seniors" with the aim of familiarizing each other.

But unfortunately, the fun activities initiated by structural officials of Jelambar Urban Village turned out not to be in accordance with the provisions of contract employees. These provisions are contained in the Regional Secretary Circular Number 85 / SE / 2019 concerning PJLP.

After knowing the news of the hazing, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan immediately instructed the inspectorate to conduct an inspection.

During the examination yesterday, the Head of Jelambar Agung Triatmojo Village and all ASN involved were immediately temporarily suspended until the examination was completed.

"The results of the examination have been completed. And they are proven, because of that they will be released. If yesterday they were inactive, now they will be released," said Anies at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday, December 16.

The examination of this incident was carried out by the DKI Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) in accordance with PP 53/2010 concerning Civil Servant Discipline Law.

Anies added that events like this can be a lesson for all parties, especially civil servants who work in the scope of DKI. When there is a learning process, do it in a civilized way.

"Any custom, which is done anywhere, even though it has been repeated many times if it does not maintain the principle of unity, it cannot be implemented and will be given sanctions," he said.

A few days ago, a viral video of a number of people soaking in black sewer went viral. The video is said to be part of a field test for DKI Jakarta K2 and non-K2 honorary employees who will extend their work contract period. This test is considered a selection series, including medical tests and written tests. This is what is considered wrong, because the test is not correct.
