Shooting Of Religious Leaders, Residents: Perpetrators In Ojol Jackets Have Been Sitting In Stalls For 3 Days

TANGERANG – The Pinang Police Chief, Tangerang City has not yet provided an official statement regarding the shooting incident of a religious figure, Ustaz Alex on Jalan Naen Saba, Pinang, Tangerang City. According to the Criminal Investigation Unit Ipda Tapril, the party is still conducting an investigation.

Furthermore, related to the incident, one of the residents around the scene turned out to have noticed an unknown person who had been in a shop not far from the shooting location for several days.

Ahmad Mangku, Head of RW 05, said that before the incident occurred, it turned out that one of the residents saw two men sitting near the shop using an online motorcycle taxi (Ojol) attribute.

"So the perpetrator has been sitting in the shop for three days. The person (the perpetrator) bought ice, there were two people. The motorbike was parked at a radius of approximately 20 meters," Ahmad said when met at the location, Sunday, September 19.

Ahmad said, at that time the victim was with his young child on the way home after coming from the mosque. According to Ahmad, the deceased's son (Ustaz Alex) saw one of the perpetrators.

"At the time of the incident, the child saw people with green jackets or online motorcycle taxis," he added.

Ahmad explained, after his son entered the house, he heard a sound like a firecracker. When he looked, it turned out that his father had suffered a gunshot wound.

"When he (his son) entered the house he heard the sound of firecrackers. Then (the victim) shouted 'I was shot, I was shot', the child saw the person (perpetrator) run away," said Ahmad.

After the incident, the victim was immediately rushed to Mulya Hospital, Pinang, Tangerang City. But unfortunately his life could not be saved. The victim has now been taken to the Tangerang Hospital for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, Ustadz Arman was rushed to the Mulya Hospital, Pinang, Tangerang City, for medical treatment. However, unfortunately his life could not be saved.

"The victim died at the hospital in critical condition, due to a lot of blood. Then, at the request of the police and family, the victim was taken to Tangerang Hospital for an autopsy," he concluded.

"He died, it seems like after Isya was at the Mulya Hospital," he said.

Meanwhile, the Pinang Police Chief, Ipda Tapril, confirmed the shooting.

"Wait a minute, I'm still investigating. That's right," he said.
