Gudang Garam Owned By Conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo Adds Another IDR 1 Trillion For The Construction Of Kediri's Dhoho Airport
JAKARTA - PT Gudang Garam Tbk will increase capital by Rp. 1 trillion to PT Surya Dhoho Investama by taking 1 million new shares issued by its subsidiary. In this way, Surya Dhoho Investama's issued and paid-up capital will increase from Rp5 trillion to Rp6 trillion.
The initial deposit of additional issued and paid-up capital will be made by the company owned by conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo on September 20, 2021, amounting to Rp. 100 billion. While the rest will be paid in stages for the entirety no later than December 2021.
"This affiliate transaction aims to support the continuation of the development process for the Integrated Airport in Kediri, East Java, which was built by Gudang Garam through Surya Dhoho Investama," said Gudang Garam Corporate Secretary Heru Budiman in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Saturday. 18 September.
For information, Surya Dhoho Investama is a subsidiary that is 99.99 percent owned by Gudang Garam. The groundbreaking for the construction of Dhoho Airport began on April 15, 2020.
The airport construction will be completed within 2.5 years. To realize this, Surya Dhoho Investama requires funds of around Rp. 6 trillion to Rp. 9 trillion, which comes from internal cash.
In the initial stage, Dhoho Airport will be built with an area of 13,558 square meters of the total airport land area of 321 hectares (ha) which can accommodate 1.5 million-2.5 million passengers per year.
With runway dimensions of 3,300 meters x 45 meters, Dhoho Airport can accommodate eight aircraft movements during peak hours. Dhoho Airport will serve the community, especially in Kediri and its surroundings, and can become an alternative airport in East Java.
The producers of Gudang Garam and Surya Pro cigarettes also hope that the existence of this airport can accelerate the development and development of the Kediri area.
