Clean Up Desks And Pick Up The Cardboard Boxes For KPK Employees After Being Kicked Out By Firli Bahuri Et Al
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Employee Forum, Yudi Purnomo, took out a cardboard box containing his personal belongings from the KPK's Red and White Building on Thursday, September 16, or the day after Firli Bahuri et al decided to eject those who failed the National Insight Test (TWK) .
To reporters, Yudi, who is one of the investigators of the anti-corruption commission, said that he had tidied up his desk which had been occupied for years. He said his activities had been carried out since the morning and only finished in the afternoon.
"I've been cleaning since this morning, I've cleaned up the existing files, documents. Then I also slider (destroy it, red), what's important is that I leave it to my friends," the investigator told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building. , Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 16.
Not only cleaning up to leave the building, Yudi also had a chance to meet a number of his colleagues who are still at the KPK. In fact, he had tried to come in the morning so as not to meet them.
As a result, Yudi, who is still emotional about the KPK leadership's decision, took the time to talk and joke with his comrades before going home with a box of chocolates.
During the meeting, Yudi admitted that he was sad and could not say anything. However, they had time to spend time for breakfast and lunch together while exchanging stories.
"Yes, the point is that the atmosphere of friends is sad," he said.
Still on the same occasion, Yudi showed what items he brought home. Inside the brown box were books, table tennis bets, certificates, passports, and photos of his family.
He then admitted that he would miss the KPK's Red and White Building, which had been his office. Moreover, there are many memories in it during eradicating corruption, including memories of playing table tennis in free time.
But he made sure his passion for eradicating corruption would not end just because of his dismissal. Yudi is sure that he will find his own way to continue to fight the rasuah practice even though he is no longer an investigator.
"For me, even though I am no longer at the KPK, I will definitely continue to fight in eradicating corruption, even though I am not an investigator," he said.
"Now I can't speak maybe later. The moment is still emotional," added Yudi.
Emotional feelings were also felt by another non-active employee who had the same fate as Yudi, Tata Khoiriyah. Through his Twitter account @tatakhoiriyah, he uploaded a photo of his desk which was still full of goods.
However, Tata admitted that he was touched because his roommate had posted the words 'No cleaning the table'. In addition, on his desk, several other words were affixed.
"Since receiving SK 652, I have felt that this match will be long and tiring. It has been a long time since I decided to clean up a table that I have used for more than 4 years," he tweeted.
"Seeing our office friends look up at our desks, how come they suddenly become curvy," added Tata, accompanied by uploading three photos. Where the last photo shows him and a friend who will also be kicked out at the end of September, Tri Artining Putri is taking a selfie together.
There are still many fields of devotion outsideIn an institutional press conference to announce the dismissal of dozens of employees who did not pass the TWK, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Alexander Marwata stated that his institution appreciated and gave them awards.
In addition, he said there were still many places to serve for employees who were expelled from the anti-corruption commission because they failed to meet the requirements to switch status as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as mandated by the KPK Law Number 19 of 2019.
"There are many fields of good service outside the KPK in efforts to eradicate corruption," Alexander said in a press conference broadcast on the Indonesian KPK YouTube, Wednesday, September 15.
Alexander also believes that the tens of employees will not abandon the value of integrity that has been developed in the internal anti-corruption commission. So, Alex hopes that the employees can develop these values in their new place later.
"We believe that KPK employees who have been dismissed will not abandon the values of integrity as long as the person concerned works at the KPK which will be given to their new field of service," he said.
It was previously reported that 57 employees who did not pass the TWK would be fired at the end of September. This decision was taken because they cannot become State Civil Apparatus (ASN) according to the mandate of the KPK Law Number 19 of 2019.
The KPK argues that their inability to become ASN is not due to laws and regulations such as Perkom KPK Number 1 of 2021 but because of the results of their assessment.
The anti-corruption commission also ensures that employees are given equal opportunities even if they have passed the age limit or have stopped being ASN before.
The employees who were declared no longer able to work at the KPK included senior KPK investigators Novel Baswedan and Ambarita Damanik, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum Yudi Purnomo, KPK investigator Harun Al-Rasyid, and dozens of other names.
