Jakarta Residents Beware Of Rain Accompanied By Lightning Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reminded residents to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in some areas of Jakarta on Friday, September 17 afternoon and evening.

"Be aware of the potential for rain that can be accompanied by lightning/lightning with a short duration in some areas of South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon and evening," the BMKG wrote, quoted by Antara, Friday, September 17 in the morning.

BMKG predicts Jakarta's weather conditions throughout Friday from morning to evening with sunny conditions to light rain.

BMKG data shows that the entire administrative area of DKI Jakarta is sunny this morning.

Entering the afternoon, the administrative areas of West Jakarta and Central Jakarta are predicted to be cloudy. Meanwhile, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to rain with light intensity.

For the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands region, BMKG predicts the weather will be cloudy during the day.

Entering the evening, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency forecasts the West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas with sunny cloudy weather.

The weather conditions for Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands Regency are predicted to be sunny. On Saturday morning, the weather conditions in West Jakarta are cloudy and the Seribu Islands with light rain, while other administrative areas are predicted to be cloudy.

Meanwhile, the air temperature is estimated to be around 24-33 degrees Celsius. West Jakarta will be in the range of 24-33 degrees Celsius, Central Jakarta 24-32 degrees Celsius.

Next, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to be around 25-33 degrees Celsius. The North Jakarta administration area is predicted to have a temperature in the range of 25-32 degrees Celsius, then the Thousand Islands is in the range of 27-30 degrees Celsius.

For air humidity, BMKG predicts it will be in the range of 65-95 percent. West Jakarta area in the range of 65-95 percent.

The Thousand Islands region is predicted to have a humidity of 70-95 percent, while other administrative areas have humidity in the range of 65-90 percent.
