Black Clouds At The Ministry Of Health Due To Health Workers Who Died Due To Victims Of Violence In Papua KKB

JAKARTA - A black cloud hung over the Ministry of Health after they received confirmation from one of the health workers in the Kiwirok District. Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, Gabriela Meilan died.

Gabriela and Kristina Sampe had disappeared due to the KKB riots led by Lamek Taplo in Kiwirok. They tried to save themselves from the ferocity of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) by fleeing into the abyss.

The joint team finally found them. Kristina is safe while Gabriela is dead.

The Head of the Bureau of Communication and Community Services, Ministry of Health, drg. Widyawati, MKM conveyed her deep condolences and regretted the violent incident by KKB.

Meanwhile, two health workers were previously declared detained by the KKB. After a search was carried out by the TNI-Polri, one person was found alive, and another person was dead and is currently still waiting for the evacuation process.
