Papua Brings Good News, 5,588 People Recover From COVID-19

JAKARTA - The latest report from the Indonesian Ministry of Health informed that the highest number of recovered COVID-19 patients on Thursday was in Papua Province, reaching 5,588 people.

This number adds to the daily accumulation of recovered patients in the local area to 30,556 people, Thursday, September 16.

Central Java Province is in second place with 1,897 people with accumulated recovered patients reaching 439,452 people.

The next most recovered patients were in West Java as many as 755 people so that it accumulated to 679,840 people.

The Ministry of Health also reported that the total addition of daily recovered patients nationally reached 14,633 patients out of a total of 3,968,152 patients.

Meanwhile, the addition of confirmed cases nationwide was 3,145 cases bringing a total of 4,181,309 cases.

The addition of the most confirmed cases occurred in West Java with 346 cases, followed by East Java with 335 cases and Central Java with 293 cases. For daily death cases, Central Java was dominated with 42 cases, followed by East Java with 30 cases and North Sumatra with 25 case. This number contributes to the daily national death rate of 237 cases, bringing a total of 139,919 deaths.

Nationally active cases showed a downward trend of 11,725 cases bringing a total of 73,238 cases. The number of specimens examined was 99,130 specimens. For suspected cases as many as 354,479 cases. This was reported by Antara, Thursday, September 16.
