Head Of DKI BPK Replaced, Deputy Governor Riza: Hopefully We Can Work Together

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, welcomed the change in the position of Head of Representative of the DKI Jakarta Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

Currently, the Head of DKI BPK is Dede Sukarjo. Previously, the position was held by Pemut Aryo Wibowo, who has currently moved to become the Head of the Aceh Representative BPK.

"Today we can witness the inauguration of the Head of the DKI BPK representative, Mr. Dede Sukarjo, who was previously Mr. Pemut Aryo," said Riza at the DKI BPK Office, Jakarta, Thursday, September 16.

In the change of position, Riza hopes that BPK DKI can continue to cooperate with the DKI Provincial Government in auditing regional financial accountability reports.

"We hope of course that we can work together, collaborate, have positive synergy, and continue the good cooperation. We are grateful for 4 years in a row that DKI Province has received WTP financial reports and hopefully in the following years it can also be get WTP," he said.

Riza said that until now the DKI Provincial Government has completed the majority of BPK recommendations on regional financial reports in 2020.

"Alhamdulillah, the achievement has been very good, we have implemented 85 percent of it. So, the cooperation so far has been very good between the DKI Provincial Government and the BPK," he said.

It is known that for four years DKI received the WTP title from the BPK. However, there are a number of notes highlighted by the DKI BPK, which was then led by Pemut, in DKI's 2019 and 2020 financial reports.

Some of these records include the financial statements of Formula E, which do not include the commitment fee budget and bank guarantees as expenses for Formula E expenses in the feasibility study that was made. Thus, BPK recommends that the DKI Provincial Government revise the feasibility study.

In addition, there were also findings of wasting the purchase of N95 masks and rapid tests in 2020. Then, DKI was also known to still pay the salaries of employees who had retired until they died, before being followed up by the Provincial Government.

Then, BPK also found that DKI had overpaid the purchase of fire engines in 2019 and overpaid the Transjakarta subsidy in 2020.
