Pertamina Distributes Revolving Capital For 187 MSEs Around Super Priority Tourism Destinations
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) distributed revolving capital assistance to 187 micro and small businesses (UMK) around five Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP). This is done to revive the community's economy after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Acting. Pertamina's Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, Fajriyah Usman, said this support was manifested in the distribution of business capital assistance to MSEs as an effort to develop the economic potential around the five DPSP areas.
"It is hoped that in addition to the tourism sector that continues to grow, small business actors around the area can also take the class," he said in Jakarta, Wednesday, September 15.
Fajriyah said that until 2021, Pertamina had distributed revolving capital assistance to 187 MSEs around the DPSP area. As for the details, the distribution is given to foster partners (MB) in the Lake Toba area of North Sumatra as much as 56 MB. Furthermore, in the area of Borobudur, Central Java 29 MB; Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara 57 MB; Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara 23 MB, and Likupang, North Sulawesi 22 MB.
Through the PUMK Program, said Fajriyah, Pertamina wants to always provide energy that can drive the wheels of the economy. Energy that becomes fuel, as well as energy that produces sustainable growth and always supports the achievement of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) at point 8 related to the provision of employment and economic growth, as well as the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) based programs throughout operational area.
One of the fostered partners who have benefited from these benefits is Gunawan Kurnia Pribadi, the owner of Batik Gunawan Design. One of the fostered partners of DPSP Borobudur is located in the Laweyan area, Solo. In addition to producing batik, Gunawan also produces sarong goyor weaving.
In addition to receiving capital assistance, Gunawan also received guidance from Pertamina in the form of an opportunity to be included in the book Pertamina SME 1000 in 2021.
