Bali Governor Asks Residents To Stay Alert Even Though COVID-19 Cases Drop
DENPASAR - Bali Governor Wayan Koster explained the development of COVID-19 in Bali including the implementation of PPKM Level 3 on the Island of the Gods.
Koster said, since August 30, 2021, the addition of new cases of COVID-19 has begun to decline. Where, the addition of daily cases has been below 250 cases per day.
While the cure rate reached 93 percent and active cases continued to decline until it reached a figure below 3,000 people or 2.5 percent.
"However, we still have to be vigilant because the death rate is still high above 10 people per day," said Koster in a written statement, Wednesday, September 15.
Koster said, with the decline in new cases of COVID-19, increasing recovery rates, declining rates of hospitalization or hospitality rates and decreasing death rates due to COVID-19, the central government imposed PPKM level 3 in Bali. Previously, Bali implemented PPKM level 4.
