PAPUA - West Papua Police Chief Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing ordered all police officers to distribute photos along with the identity of the wanted list (DPO) for KNPB Maybrat members who attacked the Kisor Posramil, to remote areas of West Papua Province.

"Photos of DPO members of KNPB who were involved in the criminal attack on Posramil Kisor Maybrat which caused the death of 4 TNI AD personnel must be spread to remote areas," said Inspector General Tornagogo in Manokwari, Antara, Wednesday, September 15.

Similarly, the Head of Public Relations of the West Papua Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, added that the order from the West Papua Police was a form of seriousness between the Police and the TNI in hunting down the perpetrators.

He said the photos and identities of 17 DPO criminals from the KNPB group were valid throughout the West Papua region.

"We urge people who see people's faces on the DPO sheets to contact the police service number, so that the perpetrators can be arrested and legally responsible for their actions," said the Head of Public Relations.

The Head of Public Relations also appealed to the public not to be provoked by people who invite to commit criminal acts that harm themselves or others.

"The criminal actions of 19 people from the KNPB group have harmed the Maybrat community, we urge the public not to be provoked by group incitement like this," he asserted.
