Canceled Being A Widow, Lulu Tobing's Divorce Suit For Bani Mulia Is Rejected

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Religious Court rejected the divorce lawsuit filed by Lulu Tobing against her husband, Bani Maulana Mulia, today, September 14, 2021.

"Today is the last trial for the reading of the decision and the trial online, yes. So the trial was not directly attended by both parties in the trial, according to the schedule agreed upon by the trial to read this decision at 2 am," said Jajat Sudrajat, Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Religious Court, quoted from the YouTube channel Warta Kota Production, Tuesday, September 14.

"The decision has been read, and the conclusion of the panel of cases is rejected," he said further.

The lawsuit was rejected on the grounds that the arguments given by the plaintiff were not proven so that there was no reason to grant the lawsuit. They also refused to explain the details of the arguments that were not proven.

Even though they have walked 13 times, Bani and Lulu are still considered husband and wife. “If they don't accept they will appeal to the High Court. Both sides can appeal 14 days after today," he said.

Not even two years old, Lulu Tobing filed for divorce from Bani Maulana Mulia on the grounds that there was no harmony in their household.

After the lawsuit was made on May 18, the two followed the trial process for 13 times.

Monitoring his Instagram account, Bani still keeps some photos with Lulu Tobing in his account. He even had time to upload a photo with Lulu in the middle of the divorce process with the words, "Alhamdulillah."
