This Is The Latest Condition Of 2 Persib Players, Rashid And Kuipers
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung team doctor Rafi Ghani explained the current condition of two of his players, namely Mohammed Bassim Rashid and Nick Kuipers who had to receive treatment after their match against Persita Tangerang, last Saturday.
Rashid collided with a Persita player which resulted in bruising under his eye, but his condition is said to be improving.
"Alhamdulillah, Rashid only has a hematoma or bleeding under the skin. After being compressed and given medicine, the bruises under his left eye have reduced," said Rafi, quoted by Antara from the club's official website, Tuesday, September 14.
Despite the bruises under his eyes, Rafi confirmed that the Palestinian player was not seriously injured. In fact, now Rashid is reported to be much better after receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, Nick Kuipers, he said, is still recovering, being treated by physiotherapists, and hopes that his condition will improve quickly.
The Dutch defender had to be pulled off the field due to a problem in his thigh.
"Nick has a spasm in the adductor femoris dextra. He is undergoing therapy with physiotherapy, also with drugs. He is currently undergoing physio, hopefully it's not a serious injury," said Rafi.
In the match against Persita which took place at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Bekasi, Saturday night, Persib won with a score of 2-1, all of which were scored by Rashid's kick.
Despite suffering an eye injury due to an elbow hit by Persita player Harrison Cardoso de Oliveira, it did not prevent the 26-year-old midfielder's productivity in scoring goals.
One goal from Persita was contributed by Irsyad Maulana with a curling hard kick from outside the penalty box in the 53rd minute.
