Malmo Vs Juventus: Allegri Admits The Bianconeri Are Not Seeded Champions, Targeting To Reach The Top 8
JAKARTA - Massimiliano Allegri admits that Juventus are not the champions of the Champions League this season. However, anything can happen if they meet the target of reaching the last eight.
In the last seven years Juve assisted Allegri to reach two Champions League finals in his first tenor, but their last two seasons have always stopped in the round of 16.
Juventus will kick off their Champions League Group H appearance with a trip to Sweden to face Malmo FF on Tuesday local time.

"Juventus have been considered seeded in recent years for appearing in those two finals. Now, after speaking with the president, our target is to reach the last eight after what happened in the last two seasons," said Allegri, quoted by Reuters on Tuesday.
"And when you reach that stage, anything can happen. You can only aim to be champions.
"The fact that we are not considered seed does not change our desire to be champions, they are two completely different things," he added.
Allegri started his second tenor at Juve poorly without a win in the first three matches of the Serie A season, having inherited a team that finished only fourth from previous coach Andrea Pirlo.
"The situation is not going well at the moment, even though the team's mentality is right. But individual mistakes happen too often," he said.
"We have to be able to prevent set-piece situations and deal with them when they happen," said Allegri.
Juve flew to Sweden without Federico Chiesa and Federico Bernardeschi who Allegri confirmed was still injured.
