Now There Are No Provinces With PPKM Level 4 Status
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto revealed that there was a decrease in the level of implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) outside Java-Bali.
According to him, based on the results of the evaluation conducted every week, currently there are no provinces with PPKM level 4 status.
"Then if we look at the provincial level, there was a decline from level 4, namely two provinces, to none at level 4. Then level 3 from 23 provinces became 16. Then at level 2, from 3 to 11 provinces," said Airlangga at a press conference. virtually, Monday, September 13.
However, said Airlangga, currently PPKM outside Java-Bali is still in effect for two weeks, from 7 to 20 September. Therefore, there are data that we must update, especially outside Java-Bali because there are cases that are more than 21 days old.
"This is indeed the President asking for the data to be cleaned immediately," he said.
Airlangga emphasized that currently the PPKM status in 23 regencies/cities is still at level 4 so that people continue to be vigilant. According to him, there are several things that must continue to be improved so that the decline in the level or level of the case can still be maintained.
"Because once again we say that the COVID-19 pandemic is dynamic in nature," he said.
It was also explained that 17 regencies/cities have made improvements. Where 16 districts/cities dropped from level 4 to level 3 and there was even one district/city down to level 2.
"However, this will continue to be carried out based on level 4. Because we are still waiting for the number of vaccinations so that the minimum number reaches 20 percent," he said.
Meanwhile, the other 6 regencies/cities remain at level 4, namely Banda Aceh, Bangka, Medan, Kota Baru, Palangkaraya and Palu.
Although several indicators related to confirmed cases, recovery, death rates and occupancy rates have improved, we will still use them at level 4," he said.
