10 Days Of Investigation, Police File Psychiatric Visum For Victims Of Sexual Harassment At KPI

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief AKBP Setyo accompanied by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Kompol Wisnu Wardana said that the progress of the investigation into the MS case on reports of alleged sexual harassment and bullying at the Central KPI Office was in the clarification stage.

"After 10 days of investigating, we have carried out an examination or in this case made clarifications to the MS reporter as well as to the alleged reported reports that MS submitted as many as 5 people," he told VOI at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, September 13, afternoon.

He continued, his party also submitted a Visum et Repertum Psychiatric against the victim to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital and conducted a crime scene.

"We, the Central Jakarta Metro Police are concerned about the incident reported by the victim. We promise to carry out an investigation related to this incident in a transparent, proportional and professional manner to make light of this incident," he said.

Regarding this incident, the Central Jakarta Metro Police proactively received and followed up on victims' reports.

"Currently, we have made clarifications to the victims or the reported parties. Including the witnesses from the reported parties," he said.

AKBP Setyo confirmed that the case was still under investigation. To that end, they are still gathering other evidence.

"We will conduct an examination or clarification of the criminal expert witness," he said.
