Indonesian Entrepreneurs Acquire Spanish Club, This Is Kemenpora's Attitude
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) welcomes the steps of the Batavia Sport Group (BSG), which is a collaboration between the ASIOP Football Academy and Batavia Pictures. They made the acquisition of a Spanish football club, CD Polillas Ceuta.
BSG took steps to acquire the Spanish club to support the progress of football in Indonesia. They hope that Indonesia's talented young players can have a place to compete at the best level.
"So that children can increase their flying hours," said Director of BSG, Ade Prima Syarif, on the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The expectations of BSG are clear. They want to create national players who are competitive at the international level. Of course, that will give way to young Indonesian players a career in Europe.
"We will also provide scholarships to talented and outstanding players from Indonesia who wish to train at CD Polillas Ceuta," said Ade Prima.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Gatot S Dewabroto, appreciated the steps made by BSG. According to him, this will make it easier for talented young Indonesian players to be able to take part in one of the best leagues in the world. Although it was not the Indonesian side that acquired foreign clubs, Sesmenpora considered BSG's actions very important.
"This allows young talents to use the club to practice to gain further experience, especially since BSG was said to be the decision maker," said Gatot.
