Suicide Silence Breakthrough Which Holds Geographical-Based Virtual Concert Tour

JAKARTA - With the concert industry being stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of bands have come up with new and creative ways to present live music to their fans. Case in point: Suicide Silence holding a Virtual World Tour.

This virtual concert is unique. Because this deatchcore band from the United States will play a streaming concert for certain geographic areas. Indonesia, more precisely Jakarta, is one of the virtual concert points.

The virtual concert which was held from July 2 to 30 will take place 39 times covering 14 countries and 5 continents. For Jakarta, it will take place July 27 at 12.00 at night. Check the details here.

"The time has come! We have worked with Nuclear Blast and BandsInTown on this tour and we will be holding 39 virtual shows throughout July, "the Suicide Silence commented in its official statement.

Each show will feature a band playing a full professional set filmed by multiple cameras, followed by a question and answer session. Since the show is geographically based, meaning that only people within a certain city radius of the virtual tour city will be able to purchase tickets to see the concert.

"We decided to open tickets all over the US state and to the rest of the country when it comes to overseas markets. Be sure to engage on social media by requesting specific songs in your market and asking for the markets you want to add in the future. This live stream will be a complete Suicide Silence fan experience that will never be rereleased or shown again. Come join the party! " continued the band.

Suicide Silence released their latest album, Being the Hunter, on February 14th. Last week, they released the song Overlord, a B-side from the album that had never been released before.

Recently, the California-based band also launched a new "Zero Tolerance" shirt. 100 percent of the proceeds from its sales will go to Campaign Zero, an organization that analyzes policing practices. This is an attempt by Suicide Silence to identify effective solutions to end police violence.
