JAKARTA - The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Pol. Gatot Repli Handoko, said that from the results of the investigation and examination of Siti Khoiriyah, it was known that the victim died in the names of Gofar and Mat Shodiq. Both have been assembling fish bombs since 1.5 years ago.

Despite knowing, Siti admitted that she did not dare to ask about the activities carried out by Gofar and Mat Shodiq.

The Head of Public Relations explained that Mat Shodiq always visited Gofar's house every day to assemble the fish bomb or bondet. "Except for Friday around 08.00 WIB until after the midday prayer," he said.

From the results of the examination of witnesses, Mat Shodiq often brought 2 coolies from Jalan Hangtuah, RT 04/05, Tamba'an Village, Gadingrejo District, Pasuruan City. After becoming a fish bomb or bondet, the customer will take the bomb later.

"That the customer is a black man, possibly from Outside Java/Makassar and the name is unknown. Usually it comes with his wife with the initials R," he said.

The buyer is known to work as a clothing seller with an installment system and is taken about every 3 days for each fish bomb or bondet of about 1 large box of mineral water.

"Around 2009, Mat Shodiq's nephews named Farida and Iwan were arrested by the Pasuruan City Criminal Investigation Unit. Both were arrested for making fish bombs. Both marketed them to Banyuwangi and Situbondo areas as well as fishermen in Makassar, but they were not developed to supply explosives," said Kabid. .

Until now, the East Java Police are still hunting for the people who ordered the fish bombs from Gofar and Mat Shodiq.

"We are still investigating explosives to reveal the network from upstream to downstream. We are also tracing sales transactions from Gofar and Mat Shodiq through the CDR of both cellphone numbers and banking transactions," he said.
