Police On Hunt For Vandalism Perpetrators Of GBK JPO

JAKARTA - Another vandalime action took place at the Gelora Bung Karno Pedestrian Bridge (JPO), Central Jakarta. The police also stepped in to investigate and arrest the perpetrators.

The spray paint's black scribbles were very damaging to the aesthetics and beauty. In fact, in the photo uploaded by the @jktinformasi Instagram account, some parts appear damaged.

Kapolsek Metro Tanah Abang, AKBP M. Raden Jauhari said, several attempts to find out the perpetrators of the vandalime act had been carried out. One of them is by checking the surveillance cameras or CCTV installed at the scene or in the surrounding suburbs.

"We are still investigating by studying the existing CCTV," said Jauhari, Wednesday, July 8.

By examining the CCTV cameras, the identity of the perpetrator will be known quickly. So, it will be immediately secured immediately.

However, for this vandalism, there was no official complaint or police report from the aggrieved party. Moreover, the scribbles have been removed by repainting the part by the relevant department.

"Until now there have been no reports but we are still carrying out a CCTV investigation on the object," concluded Jauhari.
