Claims To Have Strong Evidence Of Alleged Sexual Harassment, MS Lawyer Optimistic That The Reported Persons Are Suspects
JAKARTA - MS's attorney, Rony Hutahaen admitted that his party had prepared a number of evidences that corroborated the MS victim's report against five alleged perpetrators of sexual harassment and bullying at the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
"The evidence that we have prepared is there and there are witnesses. Because we submit this (evidence) to the investigation process and the witness will prepare it if the investigator asks for it later," he told VOI, Saturday, September 11.
With the evidence he has prepared, Rony is optimistic that he can ensnare the alleged perpetrators as suspects for reports of alleged sexual harassment and bullying.
"(Evidence) But we cannot share it in the media. (Evidence) We will submit it to investigators," he said.
With the evidence and witnesses at his disposal, Rony hopes that there will be a sense of justice for MS. So, according to him, the five suspected perpetrators can be immediately identified as suspects and detained.
"There is evidence and witnesses that later we hope that justice is there for MS victims and the five alleged perpetrators can be named as suspects," he said.
As is known, until now his party together with other MS's legal team are still submitting cases of alleged sexual harassment and bullying experienced by MS to the investigators of the Central Jalarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
"The marathon examination process is still continuing at the Central Jakarta Metro Police. We victims have applied for protection to the LPSK and Komnas HAM. To this day, we are still being questioned at the Central Jakarta Police," said Rony when contacted by VOI, Friday, September 10. , yesterday.
Rony also emphasized that until now there has been no peace issue between MS and the alleged perpetrators of sexual harassment and bullying.
However, Rony acknowledged that there was a discussion on a meeting between MS and the alleged perpetrators at the KPI office on Tuesday 7 September and Wednesday 8 September, yesterday.
"Nothing, there is no peace yet. MS has not (signed)," he said.
Until now, continued Rony, there has been no signing and no request for peace from MS. Rony said that the request for peace actually came from five alleged perpetrators of sexual harassment.
"Until now, we are still at the Central Jakarta Police being questioned and the legal process continues so far," said Rony.
