Irwandi said that in the near future the Central Jakarta City Government will hold a readiness meeting for the rainy season. Currently, the efforts that are still being carried out are mud raids.
"I see that the dredging of mud, both in rivers and canals, is still being carried out. Maybe we will have a meeting about flooding soon," he said.
Irwandi also asked all water pumps in Central Jakarta to be checked so that there are no problems during the rainy season. The reason is that if there are problems with the water pump, it will have a bad impact, such as puddles or floods.
"The review of the water pump will also be carried out in the near future," he said.
Irwandi asked that dredging should be done in one full week. Do not just on Sunday the officers do not do the dredging of the river. However, it is approaching the rainy season.
"I saw that in Johar Baru, on Sunday there were no officers working to do the dredging. This must change the work pattern. I ask all ranks please check so that there are no puddles," he said.
