KNPB Leader Silas Ki Brains Attack On Posramil Kisor Maybrat That Killed 4 TNI Members
MANOKWARI - The West Papua Regional Police revealed the leader of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) for the Kisor Sector, Maybrat, Silas Ki as the mastermind of the Koramil Post attack that killed four TNI members.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Papua Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, stated that Silas Ki had been named in the 17 Lists of People Wanted (DPO) who planned to torture and kill at the Kisor Posramil.
"Silas Ki's track record was obtained based on the statements of two of his members who have been named suspects, namely MY and MS," said Kombes Adam at a press conference at the West Papua Police Headquarters in Manokwari, quoted by Antara, Friday, September 10.
Silas Ki was previously confirmed as the leader of the Kisor Sector KNPB on 19 December 2020 and has followers in the organizational structure.
Before carrying out the attack at the Kisor Koramil preparation post, the KNPB group led by Silas Ki held two meetings to draw up plans.
"Meetings were held twice, around July and August before the attack on the Koramil Post on Thursday (2/9) in the morning," said Kombes Adam.
Apart from Silas Ki's role, there is also one other DPO on behalf of Manfred Fatem who was previously designated as a DPO for two murder cases.
"Manfred Fatem is a DPO for the murder of one member of the West Papua Police Mobile Brigade in Teluk Bintuni Regency, and the murder case of two civilians in the Maybrat district simultaneously in 2020," said Kombes Adam.
Currently, investigators are still developing to find out the motive for the persecution and murder of four TNI members at the Kisor Posramil.
"For now, we are still implementing the crime of premeditated conception while developing it to reveal the real motive," he said.
The 17 DPOs are Silas Ki, Manfred Fatem, Musa Aifat, Setam Kaaf, Titus Sewa, Irian Ki, Alfin Fatem, Agus Kaaf, Melkias Ki, Melkias Same, Amos Ki, Musa Aifat, Moses Aifat, Martinus Aisnak, Yohanes Yaam. , Agus Yaam, Robi Yaam.
