Case Of Wrong Data On Live COVID-19 Patients Called Dead, Police Highlight Supervision Of Denpasar Health Office
DENPASAR - Denpasar Police said that there was negligence by officers regarding cases of COVID-19 patients with the initials JG and DWB who were still alive but recorded as dead patients.
The Head of Public Relations of the Denpasar Police, Iptu Ketut Sukadi, said that the patient data was entered in the New All Record (NAR) application. The officer who entered the wrong data with the initials KMS.
"This is because the person concerned did not check before and after entering the data. And the person concerned does not have the qualifications as an operator of the COVID-19 Task Force," said Sukadi, Friday, September 10.
According to the police, this officer does not have a special assignment letter as an operator of the COVID-19 Task Force. But this officer is equipped with a surveillance decree.
According to Sukadi, the data input error occurred because the Head of the Denpasar City Health Office and the Head of Surveillance and Immunization of the Denpasar City Health Office appointed people as operators of the COVID-19 task force that were not in accordance with their competence.
"Where, the operators are appointed verbally without being equipped with a decree or special assignment letter as operators," he said.
"That, the Head of the Denpasar City Health Office and the Head of Surveillance and Immunization of the Denpasar City Health Office, did not carry out strict and continuous supervision so that the error occurred repeatedly," said Sukadi.
