Boy Allegedly Abused By 2 Male Friends, Family Reports To Medan Police

MEDAN - A 14-year-old boy in Medan was allegedly molested by 2 male friends. The family reported this case to the Medan Police.

The victim's lawyer, Indra Damanik, said the incident occurred on Saturday, August 28. At that time, the victim said goodbye to his parents to do schoolwork at a friend's house which was not far from his house.

"While at his friend's house, the victim received a chat from a friend asking about the victim's whereabouts. After being answered, his friend and one of his friends came on a motorbike to pick up the victim," he said Friday, September 10.

He said the victim was immediately taken by the two perpetrators using a motorbike. The victim sat in the middle position flanked by the two perpetrators.

Indra said the victim's cellphone was also taken by the perpetrator and placed in the trunk of the motorcycle. Therefore the victim could not contact his family.

On the way, the victim drank a drink from a friend. At that time the victim suffocated. The victim was taken to Deli Serdang.

"Once there, the victim fell asleep and did not realize what had happened to him," he said.

Indra said, after two days the victim did not come home. The victim's parents reported their missing child to the nearest police station.

However, his report was rejected on the grounds that he did not bring the file. Then, the police advised the victim's parents to announce the loss of their child through social media accounts.

Now the victim's family and their legal counsel are filing a complaint with the Medan Police.

"Yes, we plan to make a report," said Indra.
