Brazil Vs Peru Results: Everton And Neymar Maintain A Hundred Percent Victory For The Samba Team

JAKARTA - Brazil successfully maintained their perfect record in the CONMEBOL 2022 World Cup Qualifiers after beating Peru with a score of 2-0 at Arena Pernambuco, Friday morning.

Launching Antara, two goals for the Samba team were scored by Everton Ribeiro and Neymar.

Gerson almost brought Brazil ahead in the 9th minute. He managed to escape from an offside position when he received a through ball and went one on one with the goalkeeper, but his shot was still saved by goalkeeper Pedro Gallase.

The new home team can lead 1-0 in the 14th minute. Neymar managed to snatch the ball from Anderson Santamaria and do a stab into the penalty box. He then released a pull bait which was immediately grabbed by Everton Ribeiro for a goal.

Peru tried to put up a fight. However, some of their experiments were countered by the Brazilian defense.

Brazil increased the advantage to 2-0 in the 40th minute. Everton Ribeiro's shot was blocked by the opposition, but the ball spit landed at Neymar's feet and he slipped the ball into an empty net.

The score lasted until halftime.

Winning two goals, Brazil reduced the tempo of the game in the second half.

Peru was patient enough on the ball and tried to play short passes to penetrate the Brazilian defense.

Peru's best threat came in the 72nd minute when Marcos Lopez fired home from outside the box, but Weverton was still swiftly parried.

Brazil sealed Peru in the final few minutes and had two shots in that time through Bruno Guimaraes and Hulk.

Unfortunately, both of these experiments have yet to bear fruit.

No additional goals were created throughout the second half. Brazil finished this match with a 2-0 win.

An additional three points make Brazil more solid at the top of the standings with 24 points from eight matches. While Peru failed to approach the top four, and sit in seventh position with eight points.
