Erick Thohir And Minister Of Industry Agus Gumiwang Sign MoU, Increase TKDN BUMN

JAKARTA - The government continues to boost the absorption of the level of domestic components (TKDN) of BUMN companies and UMKM fostered partners of BUMN. The steps taken are the signing of a cooperation (MoU) between the Ministry of SOEs and the Ministry of Industry in the TKDN ecosystem.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir ensured that cooperation with the Ministry of Industry would strengthen the TKDN of state-owned enterprises MSMEs fostered by SOEs. According to him, this cooperation will improve the existing ecosystem.

"This support given by the Ministry of Industry to us must be highly appreciated. This improves our ecosystem with the TKDN certification for MSMEs, which is extraordinary," he said at the launch of the Quality Improvement of the BUMN Procurement System, Thursday, September 9.

Furthermore, Erick said that this collaboration with the Ministry of Industry makes Indonesia an ecosystem that supports each other to ensure that it can develop as a nation. He also emphasized that not only think about overcoming COVID-19, but also have to prepare for post-COVID-19.

Erick also ensured that cooperation with the Ministry of Industry would not turn state companies into ivory towers. According to Erick, it is time for BUMN businesses and macro business actors to strengthen each other.

"As reported by Mr. Agus (Minister of Industry), we thank God we have made a marketplace system like the SOE version. Starting of course how all of us in SOEs commissioners, directors, we talk from heart to heart that it is not the time, it is not appropriate, it is no longer a state-owned company situation This is an ivory tower," he said.

Erick also often reminds state-owned companies that MSMEs are not competitors. Instead they are business partners. The integration of the two has a significant impact on national economic growth. Where, the performance of MSMEs depends on the company's income.

"We're not talking about SOEs that are profitable, MSMEs are bankrupt. Therefore, since the beginning, Mr. Minister, we have tried to build what is called MSME PaDi. This MSME PaDi has now accommodated 10,100 MSMEs with 130,000 transactions and, thank God, last August the report was just August for me. the transaction value is IDR 10.4 trillion," he said.
