Considered A Lie, Andrew Garfield Again Denies Joining Spider-Man: No Way Home

JAKARTA - Rumors about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire joining Spider-Man: No Way Home continue to roll. The first teaser has been released since a few weeks ago but Garfield continues to deny it.

In an interview with Variety, Andrew Garfield was again asked about his participation in the new Spider-Man film. He insists he didn't join and understands why many don't believe him.

"I understand why people are so crazy about that concept because I'm a fan too," said Andrew Garfield on Wednesday, September 8.

“You can't help but imagine scenes and moments like 'Oh my God, it would be so cool if they did that?” he continued.

Andrew Garfield didn't feel the need to say anything because he honestly didn't know anything. "Whatever I say, it will either disappoint people or excite them."

In May, Garfield denied the rumors for the first time. He admitted that he did not receive calls from Marvel.

Not only Garfield, rumors of No Way Home also dragged Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx who reportedly played Doc Ock and Electro. Only Molina is seen in their new teaser.

Andrew Garfield plays Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise. Released in 2012, the film was named the biggest selling film of the year.

Lie or not, of course the answer will be revealed when the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home airs starting December 17.
