PT Puradelta, Developer Of Kota Deltamas Cikarang Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipya Widjaja Is Optimistic Of Marketing Sales Of IDR 2 Trillion To Achieve

JAKARTA - PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS), the developer of a modern industrial-based integrated area of Kota Deltamas, is optimistic about achieving the marketing sales target in 2021 in line with the high demand for industrial land.

This company from the Sinar Mas Group owned by conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja is targeting pre-sales or marketing sales of IDR 2 trillion in 2021. Tondy Suwanto, Director and Corporate Secretary of Puradelta Lestari said that until the first half of 2021, the company had achieved marketing sales of IDR 905 billion, or about 45.2 percent of the full-year target in 2021.

"This achievement mainly came from the sale of 43.3 hectares of industrial land in the first half of 2021. In addition, there were also contributions from sales of residential and commercial products", said Tondy during a Public Expose Live held by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Thursday, September 9.

Tondy is optimistic to achieve the marketing sales target in 2021 given the high demand for industrial land. Currently, he said, there is still a demand for industrial land of 70 hectares.

"With the demand for industrial land which is quite high and the negotiation process that continues to run intensively, we are confident that in the remaining two semesters of this year, the company can achieve the marketing sales target of IDR 2 trillion", he added.

Furthermore, Tondy Suwanto explained that about half of the demand for industrial land comes from the data center industry sector. The demand for industrial land from the data center sector itself has increased since 2020.

From 2020 until the first half of 2021, there have been several well-known data center players who have invested in and are present in the GIIC industrial area of Kota Deltamas, both domestically and internationally.

"We hope that in the second half of 2021, more data center industries will be present in our industrial area", said Tondy Suwanto.

In addition to requests from the data center sector, the company also receives requests for industrial land from other industrial sectors, such as industries related to the automotive and food industries.

The Company itself is currently developing an industrial zone within the GIIC industrial area of Kota Deltamas which is equipped with special facilities and infrastructure to anticipate land demands from industries that require the latest technology, including the data center industry. The development of the industrial zone is intended to anticipate the increasing number of industrial customers who require special specifications.
