The Wamenparekraf, Who Is Also The Son Of The Boss Of The MNC Conglomerate, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, Wants Lido World Garden To Contribute To The Creative Economy
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Angela Tanoesoedibjo hopes that the Lido World Garden, which will be built in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of MNC Lido City, West Java, will contribute through tourist visits, development of MSMEs, and the creative economy.
"So, it can open up new business opportunities and create jobs," said Sandiaga in a press statement quoted from Antara, Thursday, September 9.
On this occasion, the son of the conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo inaugurated the construction of the Lido World Garden, marked by the symbolic laying of a resin tree. In addition to the inauguration of the development, he also witnessed the submission of Government Regulation (PP) Number 69 of 2021 concerning the designation of MNC Lido City as a Tourism SEZ which was signed by President Joko Widodo on June 16, 2021.
This PP was handed over directly by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, represented by Deputy VI for Regional and Spatial Planning at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Wahyu Utomo, to the Executive Chairman of MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo. The Lido SEZ is projected by the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy to attract investments of up to US$2.4 billion or Rp. 33.5 trillion.
The Governor of West Java Province, Ridwan Kamil, welcomed the construction of the Lido World Garden in the SEZ of MNC Lido City. He stated that this SEZ is the first in West Java, so it can be a model for investors who will invest in West Java.
Lido World Garden is a flower garden covering an area of 17 hectares which will be decorated with various collections of rare flora specimens and divided into six zones.
Namely, the gate of time zone, the fairy village zone, the world of wonders zone, the magnificent Indonesia zone, the noah garden zone, and the embassy pavilion garden zone. These six zones are intended to attract tourists, both domestic and foreign.
