Earlier, an earthquake rocked the Rangkas Bitung area, Banteng, at around 11:44 WIB, Tuesday, July 7. BMKG informed that this earthquake did not cause a tsunami.
The earthquake centered on the mainland, 18 kilometers southwest of Rangkasbitung with a depth of 82 kilometers. The earthquake this time has a magnitude of 5.4, located at coordinates 6.69 latitude, 106.14 east longitude
Meanwhile, this morning, an earthquake rocked the Jepara area, Central Java at around 05:54 WIB, Tuesday, July 7. The earthquake centered on the waters of the Indian Ocean with a distance of 53 kilometers from the northwest of Jepara with a depth of 578 kilometers. This earthquake did not trigger a tsunami.
