PMKS At Hot Points Often Fools The Quick Response Team (TRC)

JAKARTA - In an effort to suppress the presence of people with social welfare problems (PMKS) on the streets, the Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept will deploy a quick reaction team (TRC) by tightening guard at vulnerable points for PMKS.

Head of Central Jakarta Social Service (Kasudinsos) Abdul Salam said that his party had ordered TRC officers to conduct sweeps in pockets with PMKS, such as in the Tugu Tani area, Gunung Agung, Central Jakarta.

"We will conduct a surprise operation to capture PMKS in Central Jakarta," said Abdul Salam when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, September 8, evening.

In addition to conducting sweeps in locations prone to PMKS, he continued, Central Jakarta Social Affairs Sub-dept. officers will also be placed in points that are considered prone to PMKS. With this, it is hoped that it will attract PMKS in Central Jakarta.

"We have placed the TRC. They are also the same as the Service, Supervision, and Social Control (P3S)," he said.

According to Alam, his nickname, officers are often fooled by PMKS. When officers arrive at the location, usually PMKS already know better about the arrival of officers.

"If the information leaked during the raid, they didn't exist, but when we arrived they immediately ran away," he said.
