Tourist Attractions In Banyuwangi Open From September 10, Visitors Must Vaccinate
BANYUWANGI - Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, decided to open a tourist spot on Friday, September 10. This was done after Banyuwangi entered level 2 PPKM.
This decision is in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 39 dated September 6, 2021 and the SE Task Force for Handling COVID-19 in Banyuwangi Regency.
Tourists may open with a visitor limit of 25 percent of capacity. However, visitors must be vaccinated and apply health protocols.
Meanwhile, restaurants are allowed to open until 21.00 WIB with a capacity of 50 percent and a meal time of 60 minutes.
"Our tourism is no longer mass tourism, but quality tourism," said Head of the Banyuwangi Regency Culture and Tourism Office, MY Bramuda, Wednesday, September 8.
He said the reopening of these tourist attractions must still follow the regulations set out in the Instructions of the Minister of Home Affairs and the SE Task Force for Handling COVID-19 in Banyuwangi Regency.
"The point is for those who have been vaccinated, let's travel to Banyuwangi," said Bram, his nickname.
In the future, the public will only need to scan the barcode that has been integrated with the Peduli protect application at the tourist attractions visited. This is a way to find out if a visiting tourist has been vaccinated.
"This is the government's effort to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the tourism sector," he said.
With the reopening of this tourist destination, Bramuda hopes to encourage people to be enthusiastic about participating in the vaccination program. In addition, so that the wheels of the economy of the people in tourist locations can recover.
